To create the first, fully accessible production and
training base for disabled artists. The study for the
£3.2 million scheme was accepted by ACE and
formed the basis of Graeae’s development plan.
Feasibility study for East 15 Acting School / University
of Essex into the potential to set up a professional
spin-off company and performance space. Plans
included a geodesic dome on the foreshore end of
Trestle Arts Base
Three stage feasibility study to raise £1.5 million from
Arts Council Lottery and £500,000 partnership funding
to create a production base housing a 200 seat
theatre, workshops, rehearsal room, café and office
facilities in St Albans.
Penny has also undertaken feasibility studies for
Kneehigh Theatre Company and assisted Greenwich
and Lewisham Young People’s Theatre (GLYPT)
move into the Tramshed in Woolwich.
